How it works

A financing request should have a clear next step.

October Capital Funding helps organize the opening process and connect eligible requests with independent financing providers. The provider handles underwriting and determines the terms of any actual financing option.

From request to provider review

What happens after you click Apply Now.

Each stage has a different purpose. The goal is to collect enough information to move the file forward without making the first screen feel like an underwriting package.

  1. Tell us what the business is trying to accomplish

Start with the requested amount, use of funds, business profile, operating history, revenue range, and an authorized contact. The guided form keeps the information organized and lets you review it before submitting.

  2. We review the initial financing picture

Our team considers the business objective, timing, industry, revenue profile, current obligations, and the financing category selected. If something important is missing, we may contact you before routing the request further.

  3. A relevant financing provider may review the file

With the applicant's authorization, information may be shared with one or more independent financing providers or commercial finance partners. A provider may request additional documents, conduct verification, and apply its own underwriting standards.

  4. Questions and additional documents are handled

Depending on the product, the provider may need bank statements, invoices, business financial statements, ownership information, a voided business check, or other supporting records. Sensitive identity information should be submitted through the secure process specified for the request.

  5. Review the provider's actual written option

If a provider presents financing, compare the amount delivered, total cost or repayment, payment frequency, term or estimated duration, collateral or lien provisions, personal guaranty requirements, prepayment terms, and all transaction-specific disclosures.

  6. The business decides whether to proceed

There is no obligation to accept a provider option simply because a request was submitted. If the business accepts an approved option, funding and ongoing obligations are handled under the applicable provider agreement.
